One point for each correct answer, out of five. People on the same score are ranked by how quickly they finished, timed from when they first opened that week’s questions, then by who submitted first.
Once per week. Each email inbox counts as one entrant, including address variations such as name+tag@ or dotted Gmail addresses.
The open and close times are shown with each quiz, in East Africa Time (EAT). Answers can only be submitted while the quiz is open.
After the quiz closes. Until then they stay on our server, so nobody can see them mid-week. Past weeks, with answers and explanations, are listed on this page.
If a week has a prize, it’s shown with that week’s quiz. Not every week has one.
We use it to sign you in and to contact you about the quiz, for example if you win. We only send you other news from PowerTally if you tick the box to agree. The leaderboard shows your display name and region, never your email.
Powercomputers may hide entries with offensive display names or that break these rules. To have your own entry removed, contact us.
