Solutions · Inventory

Stock you can trust, in every godown

TallyPrime keeps inventory and accounts in the same company, so every purchase, sale and stock transfer updates both at once. Powercomputers configures it for how your stock actually moves, from a single shop to several warehouses.

Godowns and locations

Create as many godowns or locations as you need, grouped down to shelves or bins. Move stock between them with stock journals and see stock reports for each one.

Batches with manufacturing and expiry dates

Track stock by batch with manufacturing and expiry dates, and see how many days remain before each batch expires.

Reorder levels

Set reorder and minimum order levels for each item, so shortage reports show what needs buying before it runs out.

Stock valuation methods

Value each item by the method that fits it, including average cost, FIFO, LIFO, last purchase cost, standard cost and monthly average cost.

Flexible units of measure

Buy in one unit and sell in another, such as cartons in and pieces out, with the conversion set once in the item master.

Stock and profitability reports

Stock summary, ageing and movement analysis and item-wise profitability show what is moving, what is sitting and what each item earns.
