Silver is a single-user licence for one user, and it can’t be shared. Gold is a multi-user licence that can be shared by more than one user over a LAN, with no limit on users.

With a multi-user (Gold) licence, you can have unlimited users on the same LAN, with the capacity to handle a larger volume of transactions.

TSS is a yearly subscription. It stays active for 12 months from the date of renewal or activation.

No. Upgrades are only available with an active TSS subscription.

No. TallyPrime works without TSS. However, an active TSS is required for connected services, the latest updates and remote features.

Yes. Powercomputers offers Tally rental licences as a cost-effective option, alongside single-user, multi-user and server licences.

VFD (Virtual Fiscal Device) connects your billing software directly to the TRA portal to issue valid invoices in Tanzania, without a physical EFD or intermediaries.

No. You don’t need an EFD machine to use VFD. It works from any smart device with internet access, such as a laptop, desktop or mobile phone.

Yes. Power VFD is compatible with TallyPrime and Tally ERP, so sales invoices are processed in Tally and sent to the TRA without entering them twice.

Yes. Power VFD is developed by Powercomputers, which is an authorised supplier for EFD and VFD solutions.

Fiscal receipts in Zanzibar are administered by the Zanzibar Revenue Authority (ZRA) through its VFMS system, separate from TRA’s VFD on the Mainland. Contact us and we’ll confirm what applies to your business.
